Following the Pilot stage any design refinements required to optimise the build process or sort any niggles found from the first units are put right at this stage. The output of this stage is a full set of design and build documentation which could be used by any competent assembly operation to manufacture the product in the required batch size. This normally concludes the design process and the design file is archived.
